Why it matters

The project consequence

Removing a platform licence cost can improve experimentation, but it does not remove integration, compute, content preparation, validation, security, deployment or support costs. The business case still begins with an operational or review decision.

What to do next

Three useful checks

  1. 01

Define the user, decision, source systems and update cadence before selecting a digital-twin stack.

  2. 02

Separate community-supported software access from enterprise support and internal maintenance responsibilities.

  3. 03

Prototype one bounded workflow and measure data preparation, performance and ownership before scaling.

Boundary to watch

Do not let the headline outrun the source.

Licensing, support packaging and component requirements can change. Check NVIDIA’s current licensing documentation for the exact planned use.
